We have several spaces available for rent to meet the needs of your party or special occasion. We require a refundable damage deposit in addition to the rental fees for the facilities. You are welcome to rent more than one room for your event and offer you discounts for popular room combinations and blocks of time. We will provide table and chairs, if needed. Users of the facility will be responsible for all set-up, tear-down, and clean-up. Please refer to the rental contract for specifics.

The VFW room -- This bright and sunny room is the perfect place for your smaller gathering. Located in the Annex building behind the main Civic Center, next door to the Key Peninsula Historical Society Museum, the VFW is a wonderful room for your next birthday, small meeting, class, sewing bee, etc. Room includes a sink, 6 conference style tables and 30 chairs. Capactity: 40 
The Library -- This room, situated above the Whitmore Room in the main Civic Center building, is a new offering for public use and provides users with a lovely view of Vaughn Bay. It is a bright and fun room and gives access to the main building and restrooms, making your larger events, such as conferences, school activities, art shows, and more, expandable. The room is upstairs and, therefore, not handicapped accessible. It comes with 6 conference style tables and 30 chairs. Capacity: 40   The Whitmore Room -- Located on the west side of the Civic Center, this room is full of windows and offers wonderful views of the shaded lawn and picnic area. The Whitmore Room features vintage light fixtures and easy access to the kitchen (see rental information below), via both a pass-through window and a swinging door. This versatile room is great for wedding ceremonies, dance classes, large meetings, lectures, game days, classroom activities, book fairs, art shows, birthday parties, etc. Located next to the kitchen, the Whitmore Room makes your next luncheon or reception stress free. Room is equipped with ten conference style tables, 77 chairs, a podium and a projection screen. Capacity: 77  
The Gym -- The gymnasium is where we host our very popular Friday Night Skate Night for elementary through 8th graders. Did you know you can host your own skate party here, too? Bring your own CDs for use in our sound equipment and skate with your friends and/or family. For more information, check out our FAQ. Rental of the Gym includes use of the gymnasium floor, lower balcony, and stage. It’s a great space for banquets, receptions, fund raisers, dances, graduation ceremonies, memorials, theatrical plays, concerts, sports practices, basketball games (complete with an electronic scoreboard), large birthday parties, conferences, and more. The Gym is adjacent to the kitchen - making your next catered event a breeze! Gym use includes tables (both round and conference style) and chairs for 250 guests. Capacity: 361    
The Kitchen -- We're proud to have a beautiful, all stainless steel kitchen, capable of supporting a staff of 20 for your event. The kitchen is also available for catering or cooking classes. Facilities include electric, 6 burner range with dual oven and flat-top grill combo, convection oven, two warming bins, stainless steel prep table, commercial refrigerator and freezer, hand-washing sink, food prep sink, and wash/sanitize/rinse sink combination, dish sanitizer, microwave oven, and service for 250 (dinner plate, salad bowl, bread plate, chowder bowl, mug, and silverware).
