The Key Peninsula Civic Center is a space meant to be accessible to every member of the Key Peninsula Community. Over the last year we've been hard at work making our Gymnasium easier to access for those who have mobility challenges.
We're excited to announce that the new ADA Accessible Lift is now up and running. The project was funded by the Key Peninsula Civic Center Association and a generous grant from Pierce County. KP community members Frank Garratt and Ed Taylor assisted in testing the lift, under the close watch of Board of Directors President, Tim Kezele and Caretaker, James Allyn. We hope that this addition to our beloved historical facility will encourage even more folks on the KP to attend community events, making this an even better place to live!
