The Key Peninsula Civic Center is a space meant to be accessible to every member of the Key Peninsula Community. Over the last year we've been hard at work making our Gymnasium easier to access for those who have mobility challenges.
We're excited to announce that the new ADA Accessible Lift is now up and running. The project was funded by the Key Peninsula Civic Center Association and a generous grant from Pierce County. KP community members Frank Garratt and Ed Taylor assisted in testing the lift, under the close watch of Board of Directors President, Tim Kezele and Caretaker, James Allyn. We hope that this addition to our beloved historical facility will encourage even more folks on the KP to attend community events, making this an even better place to live! ![]() Yoga is one of the most popular options to support fitness and overall well-being, and the Civic Center is proud to be able to offer classes twice weekly on the Key Peninsula.
Whether you've been doing yoga for years or you're still hoping to attend your first class, you'll be welcome here! Our skilled and caring instructors can help guide you towards increased strength and flexibility, while decreasing stress and tension. Classes are Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:30am-9:30am Class fees: $12.50 drop-in or $10.00 per class with multi-class pass.
![]() Please join us for a FREE THANK YOU BREAKFAST! We at the Key Peninsula Civic Center Association are humbled by the generosity of our community. We are deeply grateful to the many, MANY individuals and organizations that contribute time, effort, and money to ensure the continued success of this beloved historical facility. To express our thanks, we’re hosting a FREE COMMUNITY BREAKFAST on Saturday, June 29th from 9am-11am. This is just one small way that we can give back to those who have given so much. Plus, we get to try out the new stove just installed in our commercial kitchen and give the community a chance to see all of the improvements we’ve been working so hard on this year! Welcome to KPCC's Blog: AS THE KEY TURNS There's always something going on around here! This blog will keep you up to date on happenings at the KP Civic Center.
